THIS IS THE TITLE of the latest book the Lord has given me to write.  The title, and much of the main points came to me suddenly last August.  In fact, I remember vividly that it was the first Tuesday of that month and first thing in the morning.  I was writing  steadily for the next three days!

What the Lord showed me was that, yes, He has called us to perfection (I give several scriptures for this) but that His perfection is different from our perfection.  I explain that there is "forbidden" perfection and I talk about how the devil uses this against us.  Included in this is our approach to God and our religious practices; I call this "sanctimonious" perfection.

I then go on to describe just what it is that God expects of us, and what He means by being perfect.  I show the reader why and how God's perfection is attainable.

This is not a message of "greasy grace."  In the book, there is plenty to challenge the reader, however, I stress and reveal that everyone, through Christ, can do what God has commanded mankind to do and be all He has created us to be.  Everyone can grow to perfection or "ripeness."

In the last few chapters, I top the book off with keys to being a mature Christian.  This is the most exciting part of the book to me because I outline godly characteristics that are too scarce in these days (especially with preachers) yet virtues the Word of God insists we must all have.

If all goes well, I will be publishing this in the Summer.  Pray that the Lord opens the finances and the avenues.  God bless.
