Ministry Bio In 1982, at age 16, Michael Holcomb began in the ministry as Youth Pastor at his home church, The DOOR Fellowship, a non-denominational, Full Gospel church in Williamsport, Pennsylvania; a work that his parents both started in 1969 and continue to pastor. Between 1986 and 1988, he attended and graduated from Blue Ridge Chapel School of the Prophets, Rocky Mount, Virginia, and then resumed his youth pastorate in Williamsport. In 1990, he became an Associate Pastor of The DOOR, a position he still holds. His two younger brothers, Mark and Matthew, are also Associate Pastors with him. The Lord began moving on Rev. Holcomb with prophecy in the same year he became youth pastor; but in 1986 during his first semester at Blue Ridge Chapel, God unusually visited him while he was preaching in an evening service, adding a greater level of clarity to his gift. Even before Bible school, Rev. Holcomb did some work as an itinerate preacher, but after 1990 God began opening up doors for him to travel in the States and abroad (Asia, Africa, Europe, and Israel). Besides personal invitations, he has traveled much with his father, Rev. Wayne Holcomb, Senior Pastor of The DOOR Fellowship, as well as with other ministry teams. His on-the-road ministry has included tent evangelism and seminars, but he is generally known for his prophetic gift. For the past five years, Michael Holcomb has teamed up with his two brothers on a project called "Strange Fire," which exposes false doctrines in what they call CAM or Christian Alternative Music and which cross examines these doctrines with bible teachings. Strange Fire seminars are climaxed by a "Pure Fire Night" where young people are exposed to anointed praise and worship, challenged to live pure lifestyles, and then encouraged to receive the outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Most recently, he has self-published a book on Revelation entitled If the Bible Taught the Trinity, I'd Believe It.
